 

{"id":9555,"date":"2021-05-15T15:05:59","date_gmt":"2021-05-15T13:05:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.carrerivegauche.com\/boutique-crg\/buste-en-faience-eugene-de-beauharnais-xixe-siecle\/"},"modified":"2021-05-15T18:24:32","modified_gmt":"2021-05-15T16:24:32","slug":"buste-en-faience-eugene-de-beauharnais-xixe-siecle","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.carrerivegauche.com\/fr\/boutique-crg\/buste-en-faience-eugene-de-beauharnais-xixe-siecle\/","title":{"rendered":"Buste en fa\u00efence &#8211; Eug\u00e8ne de Beauharnais &#8211; XIXe si\u00e8cle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eug\u00e8ne Rose de Beauharnais, n\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris le 3 septembre 1781, mort \u00e0 Munich le 21 f\u00e9vrier 1824, \u00e9tait le fils de Marie-Jos\u00e8phe Tascher de la Pagerie, plus connue sous le patronyme de Jos\u00e9phine qui \u00e9pousa l\u2019empereur Napol\u00e9on Ier en secondes noces. \u00c9tant l\u2019un des plus d\u00e9vou\u00e9s et talentueux subordonn\u00e9s de l\u2019empereur, il obtient les dignit\u00e9s d&rsquo;archichancelier d&rsquo;\u00c9tat et de Grand aigle de la L\u00e9gion d&rsquo;honneur \u00e0 seulement 24 ans. Puis il est charg\u00e9, en qualit\u00e9 de vice-roi, de l&rsquo;administration du royaume d&rsquo;Italie le 7 juin 1805, avant d\u2019\u00eatre adopt\u00e9 officiellement par Napol\u00e9on, faisant de lui l\u2019h\u00e9riter de la couronne d\u2019Italie. Il \u00e9pousa la princesse Augusta-Am\u00e9lie de Bavi\u00e8re la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>En 1812, il est nomm\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9ral en chef et commande le IVe corps d\u2019arm\u00e9e compos\u00e9 de troupes italiennes, fran\u00e7aises et bavaroises, lors de la campagne de Russie. Cette campagne le m\u00e8ne \u00e0 l\u2019apog\u00e9e de sa carri\u00e8re militaire, et il se conduit en h\u00e9ros lors de la retraite de Russie mais les conditions \u00e9pouvantables de cette retraite le vieillissent pr\u00e9matur\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l\u2019abdication de Napol\u00e9on, les \u00e9meutes du 20 avril 1814 \u00e0 Munich et le meurtre de son ministre des finances, il est contraint d\u2019abandonner son tr\u00f4ne. Il trouve asile aupr\u00e8s de sa belle-famille en Bavi\u00e8re, et, \u00e0 partir de ce moment, il abandonne sa vie politique et militaire. Il assiste donc aux Cents Jours et \u00e0 la d\u00e9faite de Waterloo, impuissant, contraint de ne pas quitter la Bavi\u00e8re. Il re\u00e7oit de son beau-p\u00e8re le duch\u00e9 de Leuchtenberg en 1817 et finit sa vie \u00e0 Munich \u00e0 seulement 42 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Ce buste en fa\u00efence fine a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans l\u2019Est de la France, s\u00fbrement par la manufacture de Lun\u00e9ville dont la production est reconnaissale par son vernis de couleur cr\u00e8me tirant par endroits sur le vert qui est typique.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Eug\u00e8ne de Beauharnais s\u2019approchait de la fin de ses jours lorsqu\u2019il fut portraitur\u00e9, le buste aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 entre 1815 et 1824, alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tait en Bavi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Eug\u00e8ne Rose de Beauharnais, was born in september 3, 1781 in Paris and died in february 21, 1824 in Munich.<\/p>\n<p>He was Alexandre de Beauharnais and Marie-Jos\u00e8phe Tascher de la Pagerie\u2019s son. His widow mother was best know as Jos\u00e9phine after she took Napoleon I as her second husband. Eug\u00e8ne was one of Napoleon\u2019s most devoted and skilled subordinate, he was named the Arch-Chancellor of State the French Empire and was rewarded by the title of Great-Eagle of the Honour at only 24 years old. On june 7, 1805, he was charged with the title of Viceroy of Italy and, consequently, with the administration of the Italy kingdom. One year later, Napoleon officially adopted him, making him the heir of the crown of Italy. He married the princess Augusta-Am\u00e9moe de Bavi\u00e8re the same year. In 1812, he was named general-in-chief and ordered french, Italian and Bavarian forces under the 4th army corps during the french invasion of Russia. This campaign led him to the higher point of his military career, he acted like a hero during the retreat but the terrible contions of life he had to endure aged him prematurely.<\/p>\n<p>When Napoleon abdicated, riots in Munich and his minister of finance murder, obligated him to give up his italian throne. He found refuge in Bavaria at his family-in-law\u2019s and stopped all political and military activity. He stayed powerless in Bavaria during the Cents Jours and the Waterloo\u2019s defeat.
