Les accotoirs incurv\u00e9s reposent sur deux imposants balustres. Ils sont garnis d\u2019une belle feuille d\u2019acanthe.<\/p>\n<p>Les montants du dossier sont form\u00e9s de deux pilastres cannel\u00e9s. Ils flanquent un panneau central d\u00e9cor\u00e9 de vermiculures se d\u00e9ployant autour d\u2019une rosace. Sur des chapiteaux ioniques repose un entablement dont la frise est d\u00e9cor\u00e9e de motifs g\u00e9om\u00e9triques<\/p>\n<p>Cette chay\u00e8re bien architectur\u00e9e et \u00e9l\u00e9gamment sculpt\u00e9e est un tr\u00e8s belle exemple des r\u00e9alisations lyonnaises entre les 1530-1550. En effet, d\u00e8s lors, le mobilier emprunte ses formes et son vocabulaire \u00e0 l\u2019architecture. This base is topped by a moulding of strong gadroons in high-relief. The curved arm-rests are supported by two large balusters. They are adorned by acanthus leaves.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span lang=\"EN-US\" data-mce-style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">The chair back is framed by two grooved pilasters. The central panel is ornated with vermiculures spreading around a rose. Above the Ionic capitals the entablature presents a frieze of geometric motifs.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span lang=\"EN-US\" data-mce-style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">This well architectured and elegant\u00a0chay\u00e8re\u00a0chair is a very fine example of Lyon productions from around 1530 and 1550. At the time furniture borrows shapes and vocabulary from architecture.
