Pair of Louis XV period shepherdesses.
Its queen-style backrest is arched, richly carved with scrolls and garilands of flowers.
Its armrests are cuffed and trimmed, the supports are whipped.
The lower crosspiece is superbly sculpted with a cutter (typical of the sculpture of the cabinetmaker Tilliard), and flowers.
The front legs are arched and carved with large flowers. They end with acanthus leaves.
Work from the end of the Louis XV period, attributed to Jean Baptiste II Tilliard (1723 – March 5, 1797), master on July 16, 1752
Beautiful gilding with some repairs.
