Graduate in law and art history and degreed by IESA as “Specialist Counsellor in Cultural Goods and Services”, Olivia Lamy Chabolle is specialized in furniture and works of art. She first worked at Tajan Auction House in Paris before setting up her own business three years later, in January 2001.

From 2008 the Galerie Lamy Chabolle focuses its research on Decorative Arts of the second half of the 19th century. This period does not cease to question our way of seeing. It combines symbolist fantasies and classical culture, far-eastern strangeness and Islamic rigor. The exuberance and the complexity of the ornament are essential for us and constrain us to a slow reading witch leave a place for the dreams.

Our research and work focuses on works in bronze, enamels, ceramiques, glass and wood created between 1840 and 1900 by the main designers and manufacturers such as Barbedienne, Brocard, Christofle, Cornu, Sormani, Elkington, Lièvre, Rousseau, Sevin, Viardot, geofroy dechaume, Frullini, tiffany, Gorham, Deck...
They are the result of our taste and our passion for this period witch is inspired by the past and distance but witch also develop an extraordinary creativity.
